SCAW Philipine Adventure

This spring, Gary Jewitt travelled with SCAW (Sleeping Children Around the World) to the Philippines to assist in distributing 5000 bed kits to very poor families in rural areas surrounding Manila. Income for most of these families is less than $1.25 a day. There is no social assistance. The bed kits consisted of a sleeping mat ,clothes,blanket mosquito net, school supplies etc. SCAW does not advertise as most charities do. Each bed kit cost $35 & all donated funds go to the child.If you are interested go on SCAW.org

Are You on PAR? What is PAR?

‘Pre-Authorized Remittance’  A monthly automatic debit from your bank account and credited to Clinton United General Account. You decide the amount and designate to local expenses, Mission & Service and other. If you would like to be set up on PAR, fill in the authorized card available on the desk by Church office and attach a VOID cheque.  Give both to church treasurer, Marilyn, at the church office. Any changes you want to make for next year's Givings, please notify Marilyn.

Membership Transfer

We delight in the faith, warmth, and goodwill that abound in our church on Sunday mornings and in all the other ongoing midweek groups and activities. Energy, empathy, and sincerity characterize our relationships – whether we always agree with each other is less important than that we are willing to engage with each other!
